Our client, an established firm based in Sydney, is seeking an experienced Intermediate/Senior Accountant to join their esteemed Business Services team

Responsibilities:
  • Be part of a team to manage a fee base of $600K and a team of junior accountants.
  • Manage a diverse client portfolio from various industries, ranging up to $100M turnover.
  • Creativity and innovation are highly regarded.
Key Duties:
  • Train, mentor, and delegate tasks to junior staff.
  • Prepare and review income tax returns for all entities.
  • Finalize complex financial accounts.
  • Provide formal and informal tax advice on FBT, Div7A, CGT, GST, and more.
  • Conduct tax planning and forecasting, succession planning, and restructuring advice.
  • Support Partners in achieving business objectives and developing innovative ideas.
Ideal Applicants (preferred, but not essential):
  • Previous experience in a Senior or Assistant Manager role.
  • CA/CPA qualified.
  • Strong interpersonal and client communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor juniors and manage larger clients.
  • Excellent business acumen, communication, and innovative thinking.
